Great Training Opportunity for Young People

A new training programme is being launched for young people this Winter.
The Tennis Futures Programme is aimed at young people aged 15 - 19 and is designed to support them developing their tennis skills through a bespoke and free training programme of courses, that will culminate in them completing a Level I Tennis Assistant course in July next year. Course members will complete voluntary training hours alongside their training, providing valuable support to the delivery of club programmes. A 50% contribution towards the Level I will be provided.
The programme is supported by the Sheffield & District LTA, Yorkshire Tennis Ltd and the LTA and is a fantastic opportunity for young people to develop their skills and take the first steps on the coaching pathway. Courses will include Tennis Leaders, Open Court training, Competition Organisers and Marketing and Social Media.
